I woke up today feeling better despite falling asleep without my machine on. But, for some reason I was awoken with renewed energy. I got in three assignments already so decided I could take a short break to write a column before tackling some more work. I also plan to send off a couple of emails as well. I figure if I keep getting three assignments done a day then I will be caught up and on time with everything by the end of the week. So, that is the schedule I am going to keep for the rest of the week.
And, my hands are dancing over the keyboard as I am listening to the blues tonight. They blues guitar just speaks to me and makes my heart soar. And, not all blues songs are sad ones some are upbeat as well. Some you could even dance to. But, that guitar just makes me tingle all over. It has a way about it that just hits me right to my core. Everyone has their own thing in music that hits them in their core or strikes them just right in other words.
I also started reading The Cuckoo’s Calling tonight as well. I can see why people were sucked into it from the beginning. I was I know that. It is a great book so far. And, I haven’t read a mystery in a long time. Looking forward to seeing where this one takes me. Also, doing some side research for my writing with my reading as well. Always something with me and writing I swear. I am finding my groove again slowly but surely. Just taking some time once more after being thrown for a loop.
Still some altering to do with it, but will get there fully in time. Making plans to go out for the weekend though, well Saturday. So, I want to make sure I am set to finish everything up for the most part on Sunday. So, I might do a little extra work tomorrow. I am feeling hopeful and driven once more. I swear I get into a slump in the middle of term every term and then towards the end I get my drive back in full swing. Not sure if it is how life swings at me with it or something to do with the alignment of the planets or something like that. But somehow, I always pull through in the end.
Probably going to stay up later than I should tonight since I am in a mood to write, so will take advantage of it. I mean I always like to write don’t get me wrong, but there are times when I really crave it like a nothing will satisfy me but writing. Like it is a craving that must be satisfied. It’s usually then that I write like 5000 words in a night or something like that. You get the idea though. So, for like the next four hours I will be in front of my laptop furiously typing away on who knows what. Probably after this it will be my Odyssey article for next week and then more homework.
Not that that is a bad thing since the homework I am thinking I will be working on is something I am passionate about. If I could have four Majors they would be Creative Writing (like I am doing now), Sociology, Journalism, and Criminology. And that is just what I have a drive, passion, and talent for. There are still a ton of other things I would like to study. I just want to soak in as much knowledge as I can and put it to the best use I can. I feel myself growing wiser with everything that I learn each term and yet there is so much more I want to learn. Just not enough slots in my program for all I want to study. But, maybe there will be more opportunities in the Master’s Program for diversity in my studies.
Well I have rambled enough for one column. Feel free as always to leave questions and comments below. As for me I am actually starting to get tired so I am just going to see how much I can get done on my Odyssey Article before I pass out though of course I will be using my sleep machine. *Tips his hat and walks out the door*.
